The Uncleanness of Men (Deuteronomy 23:9–14)
1 பின்னும் கர்த்தர் மோசேயையும் ஆரோனையும் நோக்கி:
1 And the LORD said to Moses and Aaron,
1 ஆண்டவர் மோசேயிடமும் ஆரோனிடமும் கூறியது:
2 நீங்கள் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரோடே சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: ஒருவனுக்குப் பிரமியம் உண்டானால், அவன் தன் பிரமியத்தினாலே தீட்டானவன்.
2 “Say to the Israelites, ‘When any man has a bodily discharge, the discharge is unclean.
2 "இஸ்ரயேல் மக்களுக்கு நீங்கள் கூறவேண்டியது:
3 அவனுடைய மாம்சத்திலுள்ள பிரமியம் ஊறிக்கொண்டிருந்தாலும், அவன் பிரமியம் அடைபட்டிருந்தாலும், அதினால் அவனுக்குத் தீட்டுண்டாகும்
3 This uncleanness is from his discharge, whether his body allows the discharge to flow or blocks it. So his discharge will bring about uncleanness.
3 ஒருவனுக்கு விந்து ஒழுக்கு இருப்பின் — உடலிலிருந்து அது வெளிப்பட்டாலும், உடலுள் அடக்கிவைக்கப்பட்டாலும் — அது அவனுக்குத் தீட்டு.
4 பிரமியமுள்ளவன் படுக்கிற எந்தப்படுக்கையும் தீட்டாகும்; அவன் எதின்மேல் உட்காருகிறானோ அதுவும் தீட்டாகும்.
4 Any bed on which the man with the discharge lies will be unclean, and any furniture on which he sits will be unclean.
4 விந்து ஒழுக்கு உடையவன் படுக்கும் படுக்கை அனைத்தும் தீட்டு; அவன் அமரும் இருக்கை அனைத்தும் தீட்டே.
5 அவன் படுக்கையைத் தொடுகிறவன் தன் வஸ்திரங்களைத் தோய்த்து, தண்ணீரில் முழுகக்கடவன்; சாயங்காலம்மட்டும் அவன் தீட்டுப்பட்டிருப்பானாக.
5 Anyone who touches his bed must wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will be unclean until evening.
5 அவன் படுக்கையைத் தொடுபவன், தன் உடைகளைத் துவைத்து, தண்ணீரில் முழுக வேண்டும். மாலை மட்டும் அவன் தீட்டுடையவன்.
6 பிரமியம் உள்ளவன் உட்கார்ந்ததின்மேல் உட்காருகிறவன் தன் வஸ்திரங்களைத் தோய்த்து, தண்ணீரில் முழுகி, சாயங்காலம்மட்டும் தீட்டுப்பட்டிருப்பானாக.
6 Whoever sits on furniture on which the man with the discharge was sitting must wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will be unclean until evening.
6 விந்து ஒழுக்கு உடையவன் அமர்ந்தவற்றின் மீது அமர்பவனும் தன் உடைகளைத் துவைத்து, தண்ணீரில் முழுக வேண்டும். மாலை மட்டும் அவன் தீட்டுடையவன்.
7 பிரமியம் உள்ளவனின் சரீரத்தைத் தொடுகிறவன் தன் வஸ்திரங்களைத் தோய்த்து, தண்ணீரில் முழுகி, சாயங்காலம்மட்டும் தீட்டுப்பட்டிருப்பானாக.
7 Whoever touches the body of the man with a discharge must wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will be unclean until evening.
7 அவன் உடலைத் தொடுபவனும் தன் உடைகளைத் துவைத்து தண்ணீரில் முழுக வேண்டும். மாலை மட்டும் அவன் தீட்டுடையவன்.
8 பிரமியம் உள்ளவன் சுத்தமாயிருக்கிற ஒருவன்மேல் துப்பினால், இவன் தன் வஸ்திரங்களைத் தோய்த்து, தண்ணீரில் முழுகி, சாயங்காலமட்டும் தீட்டுப்பட்டிருப்பானாக.
8 If the man with the discharge spits on one who is clean, that person must wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will be unclean until evening.
8 அவன் தீட்டற்ற ஒருவன்மீது உமிழ்ந்தால், இவன் தன் உடைகளைத் துவைத்து, தண்ணீரில் முழுகவேண்டும். மாலைமட்டும் அவன் தீட்டுடையவன்.
9 பிரமியம் உள்ளவன் ஏறும் எந்தச்சேணமும் தீட்டாயிருக்கும்.
9 Any saddle on which the man with the discharge rides will be unclean.
9 அவன் ஏறிப் பயணம் செய்பவை அனைத்தும் தீட்டு.
10 அவனுக்குக் கீழிருந்த எதையாகிலும் தொடுகிறவன் சாயங்காலம்மட்டும் தீட்டுப்பட்டிருப்பான்; அதை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு போகிறவன் தன் வஸ்திரங்களைத் தோய்த்து, தண்ணீரில் முழுகி, சாயங்காலம்மட்டும் தீட்டுப்பட்டிருப்பானாக.
10 Whoever touches anything that was under him will be unclean until evening, and whoever carries such things must wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will be unclean until evening.
10 அவன் அடியிலிருக்கும் எதையும் தொடுபவன் ஒவ்வொருவனும் மாலைமட்டும் தீட்டுடையவன். அதைச் சுமப்பவன் தன் உடைகளைத் துவைத்து, தண்ணீரில் முழுகவேண்டும். மாலைமட்டும் அவன் தீட்டுடையவன்.
11 பிரமியம் உள்ளவன் தன் கைகளைத் தண்ணீரினால் கழுவாமல் ஒருவனைத் தொட்டால், இவன் தன் வஸ்திரங்களைத் தோய்த்து, தண்ணீரில் முழுகி, சாயங்காலம்மட்டும் தீட்டுப்பட்டிருப்பானாக.
11 If the man with the discharge touches anyone without first rinsing his hands with water, the one who was touched must wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will be unclean until evening.
11 அவன் தன்னைத் தண்ணீரில் கழுவாதிருக்கையில், தன்கையால் எவனைத் தொட்டாலும், அவனும் தன் உடைகளைத் துவைத்து, தண்ணீரில் முழுகவேண்டும். மாலை மட்டும் அவன் தீட்டுடையவன்.
12 பிரமியம் உள்ளவன் தொட்ட மண்பாண்டம் உடைக்கப்படவும், மரச்சாமான் எல்லாம் தண்ணீரினால் கழுவப்படவும் வேண்டும்.
12 Any clay pot that the man with the discharge touches must be broken, and any wooden utensil must be rinsed with water.
12 அவன் தொடும் மண்பாண்டம் உடைக்கப்படவேண்டும்; மரக்கலம் தண்ணீரில் அலசப்படவேண்டும்.
The Cleansing of Men
13 பிரமியம் உள்ளவன் தன் பிரமியம் நீங்கிச் சுத்தமானால், தன் சுத்திகரிப்புக்கென்று ஏழுநாள் எண்ணிக்கொண்டிருந்து, தன் வஸ்திரங்களைத் தோய்த்து, தன் தேகத்தை ஊற்றுநீரில் கழுவக்கடவன்; அப்பொழுது சுத்தமாயிருப்பான்.
13 When the man has been cleansed from his discharge, he must count off seven days for his cleansing, wash his clothes, and bathe himself in fresh water, and he shall be clean.
13 அவனது ஒழுக்கு நின்று தீட்டு அகன்றால், அவன் தன்னைத் தீட்டகற்ற ஏழுநாள் காத்திருக்கவேண்டும்; பின்பு, அவன் தன் உடைகளைத் துவைத்து, தன் உடலை ஊற்று நீரில் கழுவியதும், அவனது தீட்டு அகலும்.
14 எட்டாம் நாளிலே, அவன் இரண்டு காட்டுப்புறாக்களையாவது, இரண்டு புறாக்குஞ்சுகளையாவது, ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரவாசலிலே கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் கொண்டுவந்து, ஆசாரியனிடத்தில் கொடுக்கக்கடவன்.
14 On the eighth day he is to take two turtledoves or two young pigeons, come before the LORD at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, and give them to the priest.
14 எட்டாம் நாள், இரு காட்டுப் புறாக்களை அல்லது புறாக் குஞ்சுகளை, சந்திப்புக்கூடார வாயிலில் ஆண்டவர் திருமுன் குருவிடம் கொடுக்க வேண்டும்.
15 ஆசாரியன் அவைகளில் ஒன்றைப் பாவநிவாரணபலியும் மற்றொன்றைச் சர்வாங்க தகனபலியுமாக்கி, அவனுக்காகக் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் அவன் பிரமியத்தினிமித்தம் பாவநிவிர்த்தி செய்யவேண்டும்.
15 The priest is to sacrifice them, one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering. In this way the priest will make atonement for the man before the LORD because of his discharge.
15 குரு அவற்றில் ஒன்றைப் பாவம் போக்கும் பலியாகவும், மற்றதை எரிபலியாகவும் செலுத்தி அவனுக்காக, ஆண்டவர் திருமுன் பாவக்கழுவாய் நிறைவேற்றுவார்.
16 ஒருவனிலிருந்து இந்திரியம் கழிந்ததுண்டானால், அவன் தண்ணீரில் முழுகவேண்டும்; சாயங்காலம்மட்டும் அவன் தீட்டுப்பட்டிருப்பானாக.
16 When a man has an emission of semen, he must bathe his whole body with water, and he will be unclean until evening.
16 விந்து கழிந்தவனும் தன் உடலைக் கழுவுவான். மாலை மட்டும் அவன் தீட்டுடையவன்.
17 கழிந்த இந்திரியம் பட்ட வஸ்திரமும் தோலும் தண்ணீரினால் கழுவப்பட்டு, சாயங்காலம்மட்டும் தீட்டாயிருப்பதாக.
17 Any clothing or leather on which there is an emission of semen must be washed with water, and it will remain unclean until evening.
17 விந்து பட்டதோலும் உடையும் நீரால் கழுவப்படவேண்டும். மாலைமட்டும் அவை தீட்டாயிருக்கும்.
18 இந்திரியம் கழிந்தவனோடே ஸ்திரீ படுத்துக்கொண்டிருந்தால், இருவரும் தண்ணீரில் முழுகி, சாயங்காலம்மட்டும் தீட்டுப்பட்டிருப்பார்களாக.
18 If a man lies with a woman and there is an emission of semen, both must bathe with water, and they will remain unclean until evening.
18 அவனுடன் அவன் மனைவி படுத்திருந்தால், இருவரும் தண்ணீரில் முழுக வேண்டும். மாலைமட்டும் அவர்கள் தீட்டாயிருப்பர்.
The Uncleanness of Women
19 சூதகஸ்திரீ தன் சரீரத்திலுள்ள உதிர ஊறலினிமித்தம் ஏழுநாள் தன் விலக்கத்தில் இருக்கக்கடவள்; அவளைத் தொடுகிறவன் எவனும் சாயங்காலம் மட்டும் தீட்டுப்பட்டிருப்பானாக.
19 When a woman has a discharge consisting of blood from her body, she will be unclean due to her menstruation for seven days, and anyone who touches her will be unclean until evening.
19 மாதவிலக்கில் இரத்தப்பெருக்குடைய பெண் ஏழுநாள் விலக்காய் இருப்பாள். அவளைத் தொடுபவர் மாலைமட்டும் தீட்டாயிருப்பர்.
20 அவள் விலக்கலாயிருக்கையில், எதின்மேல் படுத்துக்கொள்ளுகிறாளோ எதின்மேல் உட்காருகிறாளோ அதெல்லாம் தீட்டாயிருக்கும்.
20 Anything on which she lies or sits during her menstruation will be unclean,
20 மாத விலக்கின்மீது எதன்மீது படுக்கிறாளோ, எவற்றின்மீது அமர்கிறாளோ அவை அனைத்தும் தீட்டே.
21 அவள் படுக்கையைத் தொடுகிறவன் எவனும் தன் வஸ்திரங்களைத் தோய்த்து, தண்ணீரில் முழுகி, சாயங்காலம்மட்டும் தீட்டுப்பட்டிருப்பானாக.
21 and anyone who touches her bed must wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will be unclean until evening.
21 அவள் படுக்கையைத் தொடுபவர் அனைவரும் தம் உடைகளைத் துவைத்து நீரில் முழுகவேண்டும். மாலைமட்டும் அவர்கள் தீட்டாய் இருப்பர்.
22 அவன் உட்கார்ந்த மணையைத் தொடுகிறவன் எவனும் தன் வஸ்திரங்களைத் தோய்த்து, தண்ணீரில் முழுகி, சாயங்காலம்மட்டும் தீட்டுப்பட்டிருப்பானாக.
22 Whoever touches any furniture on which she was sitting must wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will be unclean until evening.
22 அவள் அமரும் மணையைத் தொடுபவன் தன் உடைகளைத் துவைத்து, தண்ணீரில் முழுகவேண்டும். மாலைமட்டும் அவன் தீட்டாய் இருப்பான்.
23 அவள் படுக்கையின்மேலாகிலும், அவள் உட்கார்ந்த மணையின்மேலாகிலும் இருந்த எதையாகிலும் தொட்டவன், சாயங்காலம்மட்டும் தீட்டுப்பட்டிருப்பானாக.
23 And whether it is a bed or furniture on which she was sitting, whoever touches it will be unclean until evening.
23 அவள் படுக்கையின்மீதும் அவள் அமர்ந்த மணையின்மீதும் இருந்த எதையாகிலும் தொட்டவனும் மாலைமட்டும் தீட்டாய் இருப்பான்.
24 ஒருவன் அவளோடே படுத்துக்கொண்டதும், அவள் தீட்டு அவன்மேல் பட்டதுமுண்டானால், அவன் ஏழுநாள் தீட்டாயிருப்பானாக; அவன் படுக்கிற படுக்கையும் தீட்டுப்படும்.
24 If a man lies with her and her menstrual flow touches him, he will be unclean for seven days, and any bed on which he lies will become unclean.
24 ஒருவன் அவளுடன் படுக்கையில் படுத்துக்கொண்டு, அவள் தீட்டு அவன் மீதுபட்டது என்றால், அவன் ஏழுநாள் தீட்டுடையவன்; அவன் படுக்கும் படுக்கை அனைத்தும் தீட்டே.
25 ஒரு ஸ்திரீ விலகியிருக்கவேண்டியகாலம் அல்லாமல் அவளுடைய உதிரம் அநேகநாள் ஊறிக்கொண்டிருந்தால், அல்லது அந்தக் காலத்துக்கு மிஞ்சி அது கண்டிருக்கும் நாளெல்லாம் ஊறிக்கொண்டிருந்தால், தன் விலக்கத்தின் நாட்களிலிருந்ததுபோல அவள் தீட்டாயிருப்பாளாக.
25 When a woman has a discharge of her blood for many days at a time other than her menstrual period, or if it continues beyond her period, she will be unclean all the days of her unclean discharge, just as she is during the days of her menstruation.
25 பெண் ஒருத்திக்கு உரிய மாதவிலக்கு நாள்கள் கடந்தும் உதிரப்பெருக்கு நீடித்தால், அந்த நாள்கள் எல்லாம் விலக்கு நாள்களைப்போல் தீட்டானவையே.
26 அந்த நாட்களெல்லாம் அவள் படுக்கும் எந்தப்படுக்கையும், அவள் விலக்கத்தின் படுக்கையைப்போல, அவளுக்குத் தீட்டாயிருக்கும்; அவள் உட்கார்ந்த மணையும், அவளுடைய விலக்கத்தின் தீட்டைப்போலவே தீட்டாயிருக்கும்.
26 Any bed on which she lies or any furniture on which she sits during the days of her discharge will be unclean, like her bed during her menstrual period.
26 அந்த நாள்கள் எல்லாம் அவள் படுக்கும் படுக்கை அனைத்தும், விலக்குக் காலப் படுக்கைக்கு ஒத்ததே; அவள் அமரும் அனைத்தும் தீட்டுக் காலத்தைப் போன்றே விலக்காய் இருக்கும்.
27 அப்படிப்பட்டவைகளைத் தொடுகிறவன் எவனும் தன் வஸ்திரங்களைத் தோய்த்து, தண்ணீரில் முழுகி, சாயங்காலம்மட்டும் தீட்டுப்பட்டிருப்பானாக.
27 Anyone who touches these things will be unclean; he must wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will be unclean until evening.
27 அவற்றைத் தொடுபவன் தன் உடைகளைத் துவைத்து, நீரில் மூழ்கவேண்டும். மாலைமட்டும் அவன் தீட்டாய் இருப்பான்.
The Cleansing of Women
28 அவள் தன் உதிர ஊறல் நின்று சுத்தமானபோது, அவள் ஏழுநாள் எண்ணிக்கொள்வாளாக, அதின்பின்பு சுத்தமாயிருப்பாள்.
28 When a woman is cleansed of her discharge, she must count off seven days, and after that she will be ceremonially clean.
28 அவள் தன் இரத்தப்பெருக்கு நின்றபின், ஏழு நாள் கழித்தபின் தீட்டற்றவள் ஆவாள்.
29 எட்டாம் நாளிலே இரண்டு காட்டுப்புறக்களையாவது, இரண்டு புறாக்குஞ்சுகளையாவது, ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரவாசலில் ஆசாரியனிடத்தில் கொண்டுவரக்கடவள்.

30 குரு அவற்றில் ஒன்றைப் பாவம் போக்கும் பலியும் மற்றதை எரி பலியுமாக்கி, அவளுக்காக ஆண்டவர் திருமுன் பாவக்கழுவாய் நிறைவேற்றுவார்.
31 இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் தங்கள் நடுவே இருக்கிற என்னுடைய வாசஸ்தலத்தைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தி, தங்கள் தீட்டுகளால் சாகாதபடிக்கு, இப்படி நீங்கள் அவர்கள் தீட்டுகளுக்கு அவர்களை விலக்கிவைக்கக்கடவீர்கள்.
31 You must keep the children of Israel separate from their uncleanness, so that they do not die by defiling My tabernacle, which is among them.
31 இஸ்ரயேல் மக்கள், தங்கள் நடுவே இருக்கும் எனது தங்குமிடத்தைத் தீட்டாக்கி, சாகாதபடிக்கு, நீங்கள் அவர்கள் தீட்டுகளிலிருந்து அவர்களை விலக்கி வைக்க வேண்டும்.
32 பிரமியமுள்ளவனுக்கும், இந்திரியக் கழிவினாலே தீட்டானவனுக்கும்,
32 This is the law of him who has a discharge, of the man who has an emission of semen whereby he is unclean,
32 விந்து ஒழுக்கினாலும் விந்து அழிவினாலும் தீட்டானவனுக்கும்
33 சூதக பலவீனமுள்ளவளுக்கும், பிரமியமுள்ள ஸ்திரீ புருஷருக்கும், தீட்டாயிருக்கிறவளோடே படுத்துக்கொண்டவனுக்கும் ஏற்றபிரமாணம் இதுவே என்றார்.
33 of a woman in her menstrual period, of any male or female who has a discharge, and of a man who lies with an unclean woman.’”
33 தன் விலக்கினாலும் நோயுற்றவளுக்கும் — உடல் தூய்மையற்ற ஆணுக்கும் பெண்ணுக்கும் — தீட்டாயிருப்பவளோடு படுத்தவனுக்கும், உரிய சட்டம் இதுவே".
