I Have Stilled My Soul

¹ שִׁ֥יר הַֽמַּֽעֲל֗וֹת לְדָ֫וִ֥ד יְהוָ֤ה ׀ לֹא־גָבַ֣הּ לִ֭בִּי וְלֹא־רָמ֣וּ עֵינַ֑י וְלֹֽא־הִלַּ֓כְתִּי ׀ בִּגְדֹל֖וֹת וּבְנִפְלָא֣וֹת מִמֶּֽנִּי׃

1 கர்த்தாவே, என் இருதயம் இறுமாப்புள்ளதல்ல, என் கண்கள் மேட்டிமையுள்ளவைகளுமல்ல; பெரிய காரியங்களிலும், எனக்கு மிஞ்சின கருமங்களிலும் நான் தலையிடுகிறதுமில்லை.
1 A song of ascents. Of David. My heart is not proud, O LORD, my eyes are not haughty. I do not aspire to great things or matters too lofty for me.
1 ஆண்டவரே! என் உள்ளத்தில் இறுமாப்பு இல்லை! என் பார்வையில் செருக்கு இல்லை; எனக்கு மிஞ்சின அரிய, பெரிய, செயல்களில் நான் ஈடுபடுவதில்லை.

² אִם־לֹ֤א שִׁוִּ֨יתִי ׀ וְדוֹמַ֗מְתִּי נַ֫פְשִׁ֥י כְּ֭גָמֻל עֲלֵ֣י אִמּ֑וֹ כַּגָּמֻ֖ל עָלַ֣י נַפְשִֽׁי׃

2 தாயின் பால் மறந்த குழந்தையைப் போல, நான் என் ஆத்துமாவை அடக்கி அமரப்பண்ணினேன்; என் ஆத்துமா பால் மறந்த குழந்தையைப்போல இருக்கிறது.
2 Surely I have stilled and quieted my soul; like a weaned child with his mother, like a weaned child is my soul within me.
2 மாறாக, என் நெஞ்சம் நிறைவும் அமைதியும் கொண்டுள்ளது; தாய்மடி தவழும் குழந்தையென என் நெஞ்சம் என்னகத்தே அமைதியாயுள்ளது.

³ יַחֵ֣ל יִ֭שְׂרָאֵל אֶל־יְהוָ֑ה מֵֽ֝עַתָּ֗ה וְעַד־עוֹלָֽם׃

3 இதுமுதல் என்றென்றைக்கும் இஸ்ரவேல் கர்த்தரை நம்பியிருப்பதாக.
3 O Israel, put your hope in the LORD, both now and forevermore.
3 இஸ்ரயேலே! இப்போதும் எப்போதும் ஆண்டவரையே நம்பியிரு!
