Deliver Me, O LORD! (2 Samuel 15:13–29)
A Psalm of David, when he fled from his son Absalom.
1 கர்த்தாவே, என் சத்துருக்கள் எவ்வளவாய்ப் பெருகியிருக்கிறார்கள்! எனக்கு விரோதமாய் எழும்புகிறவர்கள் அநேகர்.
1 A Psalm of David, when he fled from his son Absalom. O LORD, how my foes have increased! How many rise up against me!
1 ஆண்டவரே, என் எதிரிகள் எவ்வளவாய்ப் பெருகிவிட்டனர்! என்னை எதிர்த்து எழுவோர் எத்தனை மிகுந்து விட்டனர்!*
* 3 தலைப்பு = 2 சாமு 15:13-17:22.
2 தேவனிடத்தில் அவனுக்கு இரட்சிப்பு இல்லையென்று, என் ஆத்துமாவைக் குறித்துச் சொல்லுகிறவர்கள் அநேகராயிருக்கிறார்கள். (சேலா.)

2 'கடவுள் அவனை விடுவிக்கமாட்டார்' என்று என்னைக் குறித்துச் சொல்வோர் பலர். (சேலா)
3 ஆனாலும் கர்த்தாவே, நீர் என் கேடகமும் என் மகிமையும், என் தலையை உயர்த்துகிறவருமாயிருக்கிறீர்.
3 But You, O LORD, are a shield around me, my glory, and the One who lifts my head.
3 ஆயினும், ஆண்டவரே, நீரே எனைக் காக்கும் கேடயம்; நீரே என் மாட்சி; என்னைத் தலைநிமிரச் செய்பவரும் நீரே.
4 நான் கர்த்தரை நோக்கிச் சத்தமிட்டுக் கூப்பிட்டேன்; அவர் தமது பரிசுத்த பர்வதத்திலிருந்து எனக்குச் செவிகொடுத்தார். (சேலா.)
4 To the LORD I cry aloud, and He answers me from His holy mountain. Selah
4 நான் உரத்த குரலில் ஆண்டவரிடம் மன்றாடுகிறேன்; அவர் தமது திருமலையிலிருந்து எனக்குப் பதிலளிப்பார். (சேலா)
5 நான் படுத்து நித்திரை செய்தேன்; விழித்துக்கொண்டேன்; கர்த்தர் என்னைத் தாங்குகிறார்.
5 I lie down and sleep; I wake again, for the LORD sustains me.
5 நான் படுத்துறங்கி விழித்தெழுவேன்; ஏனெனில், ஆண்டவரே எனக்கு ஆதரவு.
6 எனக்கு விரோதமாகச் சுற்றிலும் படையெடுத்து வருகிற பதினாயிரம்பேருக்கும் நான் பயப்படேன்.
6 I will not fear the myriads set against me on every side.
6 என்னைச் சூழ்ந்திருக்கும் பல்லாயிரம் பகைவருக்கு நான் அஞ்சமாட்டேன்.
7 கர்த்தாவே எழுந்தருளும்; என் தேவனே, என்னை இரட்சியும். நீர் என் பகைஞர் எல்லாரையும் தாடையிலே அடித்து, துன்மார்க்கருடைய பற்களைத் தகர்த்துப்போட்டீர்.
7 Arise, O LORD! Save me, O my God! Strike all my enemies on the jaw; break the teeth of the wicked.
7 ஆண்டவரே, எழுந்தருளும்; என் கடவுளே, என்னை மீட்டருளும்; என் எதிரிகள் அனைவரையும் கன்னத்தில் அறையும்! பொல்லாரின் பல்லை உடையும்!
8 இரட்சிப்பு கர்த்தருடையது; தேவரீருடைய ஆசீர்வாதம் உம்முடைய ஜனத்தின்மேல் இருப்பதாக. (சேலா.)
8 Salvation belongs to the LORD; may Your blessing be on Your people. Selah
